Visitor Centre offers a wheelchair borrowing service

The Annie McLeod Experience Ride has one specially adapted car to accept most wheelchairs (may not be suitable for large motorised chairs) and cars have an induction loop system
Robert Owen’s School is fully accessible to wheelchair users and visitors with mobility problems, with lift to all levels, ground level entrance, and induction loop system available in the theatre
Wheelchair access available into the ground floor of Robert Owen’s House, the 1820s/1930s Stores (not suitable for large motorised wheelchairs), The Millworkers House(two low steps into building). Roll-a-Ramp is available for access to Millworkers House and Village Store. (A virtual tour of Robert Owen’s House is available in the Saving New Lanark Exhibition in the School.)
Portable induction loop system available for guided tours
Disabled toilets available in Robert Owens School, Mill Pantry and Hotel
Essential carers accompanying wheelchair visitors receive a complimentary pass
Hotel has 5 fully equipped rooms for guests with mobility difficulties, and two lifts which go to all floors

 The Tour is wheelchair accessible; one carer is admitted for free.
Please note that there are only limited opportunities for sitting and resting; tours last approximately 75 minutes.
Disabled Toilet Facilities
Support dogs are welcome, although only two at a time can be accommodated within the Public Galleries. If this space has already been taken up, visitors may elect to leave their dogs outside the Gallery in the care of the Police if they wish.
Induction loops are fitted in the Public Galleries and Committee Rooms.

Concession rates for Carers as well as Disabled Customers (please ask at the Ticket Office).
90% garden accessibility - weather dependent, lots of rain = harder pushing!

4 electric scooters and 2 wheelchairs are available (we ask for a donation to contribute towards the cost of upkeep).
