    Somerset - The Wildlife Park at Cricket St ThomasThe Wildlife Park is fully open to visitors using wheelchairs, although some of the slopes in the Wildlife Valley are steep due to the natural layout of the area. A Map is currently being created which highlights areas of caution ie areas that are steep, or narrow bridge which will be given to visitors or arrival.
  • Our Safari Train has a carriage suitable to carry wheelchairs.
  • A wheelchair can be hired out for the day, for a deposit of £10 which is returnable, once the wheelchair has been finished with at the end of the day. It is recommended to pre-book the wheelchair, either by telephone or email as only one is available.
  • Accessabile Restaurant/Cafe To reflect the nature of the park layout, wheelchair users have FREE entry to the park - the carer also receives £1 off the entry price.

  • Living Coasts is a compact site with gentle gradients and no steps – making it ideal for older visitors as well as those with mobility problems.
  • There is a lift available for access to the first floor Café.
  • Assistance dogs are welcome.
  • Two wheelchairs are available for loan.
  • We have disabled toilets on both the ground and first floors.
  • Although we do not have our own car park, there is a Council run car park next to us, which has 3 designated disabled car parking spaces. We do have a small coach parking area, which can be used for minibuses and coaches. Please book in advance.
