New Lanark Mill Hotel provides a wonderful opportunity to stay in a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This award-winning conversion from an original 18th century mill features 38 rooms and 8 self-catering cottages with spectacular views over the surrounding village and Wildlife Reserve. Great base for exploring Central & Southern Scotland, less than one hour from Edinburgh and Glasgow. Surrounded by native woodlands and close to the Falls of Clyde, this World Heritage Site was once Britain?s largest cotton manufacturing centre. Founded in 1785 by industrialists David Dale and Richard Arkwright, the village rose to fame in the early 19th century as the site of Robert Owen?s radical social and educational reforms.

The hotel is a stunning conversion from the original Mill Number One, which is accessible throughout to visitors with disabilities.
