Community Rehabilitation and Community Support

Since 1985 Brain Injury Services have helped many people establish a new way of life either returning to their families, living independently or living with support within the community. Through a specialised process of assessment and intensive rehabilitation our residents achieve levels of confidence and independence that often seem impossible at the start of treatment. Programmes are designed to meet each person's individual needs and progress is carefully monitored, regularly evaluated and reviewed. For adults who have survived severe acquired brain injuries, the world is a strange place - one in which, quite literally, they find themselves living a new life.
Two principal rehabilitation centres are available - Grafton Manor in Northamptonshire and Elm Park in Essex. Each of these large, secluded country houses is set in several acres of grounds, ensuring privacy, quiet and a sense of space.
