There is a wide and low-level front door that allows easy access into the Cottage, where you`ll find all rooms are set on the ground floor. As with all of our self-catering units, Hazel Cottage has a fully fitted kitchen with cooker, fridge/freezer and microwave. This kitchen also has the added feature of a height-adjustable hob and sink, allowing a wheelchair to fit underneath.
Kestrel Lodge is our second spacious barn conversion, beautifully restored and featuring original wooden beams and a light and airy feeling throughout.

Kyte Lodge is a superb barn conversion, with polished wooden floors covering a living space that has been purposely designed to give an open-plan and social layout. This means that when not relaxing in one of the 4 bedrooms, guests are able to fully interact - and nobody is left stuck in the kitchen!
This Lodge features high-pitched beams and exposed stonework, giving it a real country feel. An enormous wooden table will comfortably seat up to ten guests for some memorable mealtimes! The features and furnishings include; The impressive Stable Cottage is the largest of our three self-catering units, and like Hazel Cottage it has also been designed for wheelchair users.

Fowl Green Farm is a traditional hill sheep farm of approximately 86 acres, close to the village of Commondale. It sits on a south facing slope above Commondale beck, at the end of a two mile bridle path which takes us to the slightly larger village of Castleton.
We have recently restored our C18th rough stone and pantile buildings using traditional materials and methods. Three of these old buildings, the barn, the cowbyre and the pigsties, have been converted into holiday accommodation which is wheelchair accessible.
